GET FIRED UP & Team UP with us on World Diabetes Day as Team Type 1, TMH Diabetes Center, Rotarian Action Group for Diabetes, and The Cake Shop "team together" on Nov. 14, 2010 at Sweat Therapy Fitness Cycling Relay.

FUN PART:
This is an "indoor cycling - a thon." This only means one of the indoor bikes has to have someone in the seat from 10 AM to 5 PM Nov. 14, World Diabetes Day. Riders have to be 48" tall; anyone can ride. We are requesting donations per team (corporate donors - we would love you). The indoor cycle may have one rider for 8 hours, 8 riders for an hour, 16 riders for 30 minutes, 32 riders for 15 mintues, however determined by team. Donations can be made to any time by clicking HERE.
Honeytree, Costco, Tijuna Flats, Red Elephant, Target, The Fresh Market ... lots of food and drink. The Tallahassee Memorial Diabetes Center will be there to educate about diabetes and do risk assessments.
The indoor cycling club is SWEAT THERAPY FITNESS, Mid-Town, Tallahassee, Fl. We will track donations and tell team captains who can then contact you to ask if you want to ride --- or just donate

TEAM TYPE 1 - In RWANDA
OUR OTHER TEAM will be in RWANDA .
Team Type 1 (6 cyclists, all with Type 1 diabetes) will be competing in Tour of Rwanda on World Diabetes Day. The team will deliver insulin and diabetic supplies at that time. Our efforts will support the Rotarian Action Group for Diabetes support of the International Diabetes Federation's Life for A Child Program in Rwanda,to continue to send insulin and supplies to Rwanda at the behest of Team Type 1 and our Tallahassee Team UP for Diabetes initiatives. We will support scholarships for local children to attend our local diabetes camp to learn how to use insulin and live their daily 24 hour a day life with diabetes.
